The work consists of three cubes: One is mirrored on all sides, the second is all glass and transparent, the third is a stack of glass.
The viewer will first have to select the cube that best represents her. And from there, recognize the other, and the others.
In another deeper, philosophical level, it is about how we can perceive ourselves and others in an abstract way, and more importantly, in a poetic way.
It is an exercise in poetic abstraction, and an attempt to infuse deep psychological meaning to minimalism.
In earlier exercises, through diverse works, the artist attempted to infuse deep political meaning to minimalism.
It is a self-portrait by the artist but open to anyone to identify with it.
