Propícios is a series grounded in the physical and poetic potential of materials and motion. In these works, paint is not merely applied but poured, becoming the transformative agent in a field of forces that includes the artist's gesture, the surface of the canvas, and the constant pull of gravity. The process is both deliberate and unpredictable: as the drop descends, it inscribes itself through rhythm, pause, condensation, and flow—shaped by air, time, and matter. The artist allows gravity to collaborate in the piece’s formation. Each drip becomes a record of this encounter, where impulse meets resistance, and control gives way to chance. The resulting traces are not just marks, but physical manifestations of time and transformation—propitious signs of material becoming.
