The series proposes a reflection on the various meanings embedded in the symbolism of the clenched fist, in human technologies (such as the hammer), and in the history of materials like cotton and charcoal. Present in leftist political demonstrations, the combination of fist and forearm also produces sound, rhythm, and language.
